I partner with nonprofit executives and managers to empower them to effectively motivate and lead their teams.
Let’s get you working from your individual strengths, so your people will deliver meaningful results and work together seamlessly — while you get to keep your sanity.
If you’re a nonprofit manager, you may feel like you’re just scraping by. Perhaps you were a star performer and were promoted, and you’ve discovered that leading people is a whole different — and much tougher — ball game. So maybe you avoid difficult conversations. Or you’re having trouble figuring out how to motivate a team member.
Wouldn’t it be great to know how to develop each member of your team, to help them really shine? For your people to work together and excel at the outstanding work your organization is known for?
The best way to move forward may be to stop.
Stop and take stock of yourself and your strengths. Decide how you want to motivate your team. And figure out the skills you need to make it happen.
By doing this, you’ll discover your unique, authentic approach to leadership.
I’ve been where you are, and I can help. Let me help you ramp up your leadership, so your people will deliver meaningful results and work together seamlessly, while you get to keep your sanity.
I’ve been a nonprofit executive, and for over a decade I’ve coached managers facing the same challenges as you face now. Together, we’ll identify your authentic leadership style, and put together the skills you need to succeed.
If you’re ready to take the first step, call me now for a 30-minute Turbo Shot Session.
How We Work Together
Coaching with me is:
A relationship of equals. I may have some knowledge and experience that you don’t, but you are the expert on your life.
Goal oriented. My job is to help you identify and pursue the goals that will amplify your own strengths and values, in leadership and in life.
Consistent. We’ll talk every week, so you can get moving toward your goals.
Focused and time limited. You’re not signing your life away. Most engagements are six months to a year.
Supportive and positive. My only concern is your success, as you define it. You’ll try out new skills and perspectives in a safe space. We’ll focus on what works, and how you can have more of that.
Creative. You’ll be amazed at how many ways there are to get you where you want to go.
Fun! The work is important. But it’s equally important to laugh along the way.
Completely confidential. I do not share information from our sessions with anyone without your prior written permission.
If you’re ready to try it out, contact me for a 30-minute Turbo Shot Session now.
Sound good so far? Let’s have a short (30-minute) talk and kick-start your move into authentic leadership.
In the call, we will:
- Identify your biggest leadership challenge right now;
- Identify your goal for meeting that challenge; and
- Get you focused on your next steps.
Just fill out the form over there to the right, and you’re on your way.
A Little About Me
I partner with nonprofit managers, helping them ramp up their leadership skills and mindset so their people will deliver meaningful results and work together seamlessly, while getting to keep their sanity.
I’ve served in just about every position in nonprofits, from program associate to executive director to board chair. I coach in the nonprofit sector because I’m passionate about supporting people who are doing good in the world. Stress and burnout are my mortal enemies, and I’ve lived and learned a lot about how to vanquish them. I love it when my clients have an “aha” moment, an insight that clarifies their thinking and helps them plan their next steps.
When I’m not coaching, you can find me listening to just about any kind of music, working on (and occasionally constructing) a crossword puzzle, or dreaming of the ocean. I’m also big into women’s basketball. And I’m something of a nerd.
But enough about me. How can I help you? Contact me for a 30-minute Turbo Shot Session and let’s see what we can do together.
